Best Treatment for Hiccups?

Can someone please tell me what is the best way to get rid of hiccups? I would like easy steps that can be taken.

Thanks in advance!
Answer:
This has worked for me since I was 9 Y.O. You just have to follow this very carefullly and try to understand me as my English are poor (I am Greek).

1) You have to form a bubble of pressed air in your mouth, using the upper side of your tongue and your mouth roof. Then you just have to keep the air pressed and make a wave with your tongue pushing the air bubble towards your larynx eventualy swallowing the air bubble. You have to do it just once and you are free.

2) Another method that my teacher used on me was when I was almost ready to appear on a theatrical play at school when I was 7 or 8. She asked me to remember what she had told me to do a week ago if something similar happened to me. of course she had told me nothing similar but the fact that my "blood froze" as she said later on, by trying to remember, stopped my hiccups immy. This can only work once though on a non-suspicious "patient/victim" and since it involves a mental state, I presume it is not a 100% solution.

It worked for me back then 27 years ago aprox and I still remember that lady with a sweet filling that causes me hiccups. But now I have Solution no 1 to refer to...lol.

PS: I am confident no 1 solution works 100%. It has worked for my family and friends but it may be difficult to understand what you have to do or apply it. When you do it once though, you always know what to do next time. It's like riding a bicycle

I hope this helps.
cover your ears and drink water..with a straw or something really fast...
it touches everybody , take plenty of water at that moment
put some water in your mouth and drink it in the upside down position. it always works trust me. Dont drink toooo much water, it wont work.
Lean over a sink and drink from a cup backwards. The opposite side you would normally drink from. Give it a go it really works. Also another one i have found to work is a teaspoon of peanut butter
Take nine swallows of water, burping after each swallow--three or four burps after each swallow is even more effective.

A teacher I had in the ninth grade recommended this treatment for my hiccups. I went to the school water fountain, did as she recommended, and my hiccups were gone. For over 50 years, I have used this treatment, and it has never failed.
A tablespoon of sugar.
