Can someone buy one and learn how to use it or is it strictly limited to professional practitioners? Don't answer if you don't have a clue.
Answer:
I wouldn't want to try it. I had one for about three weeks and hated every minute of it. I can't imagine installing it myself.
Some people actually have to perform self catherization, but it is very important to know the correct procedures, the urinary tract is highly prone to infections.
