Caffeine or possible heart problem?

Last Monday about 2 weeks ago, i stayed up all night drinking pepsi. After that, I was jittery, nervousness, heart palpations. After that, the heart palpations went away and my heart was beating normal. But my mind was cloudy and it was fatique all day long. The symptoms lasted but got a little bit better each day. Yesterday, i drink 2 glasses of pepsi. And then i waited a hour and went to bed. I couldnt sleep that much last night. I was up and down. So when i get up this morning around 7 i notice i had heart palpations and jitteryness, nervousness and anxiety. The anxiety and that was prob from me thinking about it and being worried lol. But when im focused on something i barely notice them. I was wondering could it be from the caffeine? causing this? I've also had like cramps and gas.
Answer:
Yes some people are more succeptible to caffeine than others.

Severe lack of sleep, alcohol, or any of the drinks with xantine derrivatives - found in cofee, tea, chocolate - all combined can precipitate arrythmias.

Sometimes people will mix alcohol with coca-cola in order to be more social and stay awake during overnight parties. This can trigger a collapse from arrythmias, to later regain consciousness. Others are less senitive and get away with living "la vida loca".

just stayaway from stimulants. If the palpitations persist, see a doctor. Even some heart problems can be relatively mild.
The caffeine along with sugar will do ALL that to you. It's highly unlikely you have a heart problem.

caffeine causes nervousness, jitters, heart palpitations, sleeplessness, bloating, cramps and gas.

Sugar causes jitters, fuzzy mind, fatigue, gas sometimes cramps.

Mix em together and overdo it and there you go.
Yes. It is made of sugar and caffeine..

Caffeine will definitely do that to you and the sugar is only making it worse. Soda is something that should be drank in moderation... not a few a day, especially before bed. Of course you wont be able to sleep! The caffeine also dehydrates you. You should consider laying off the soda for a while and when you do drink it, remember moderation. There is nothing nutritional (or good) about soda.
The simple answer is YES!
Thankfully I never drink Pepsi, cola, or coffee however IF I need to be part of the 'wide awake club' as I have Arthritis, so things like early morning Doctors appointment, one sip and I am wide awake.
Nice to have something to count on as a pick you up! You never know how life will turn out, so best to keep something in reserve.
